Quote: I'm a musician and I love music, music production, technology and photography and this was a brilliant creative outlet that I could use to fuse them all together. The reason I took the photo was because I love the "simplistic complexity" that I see every time I see the back of my monitor speakers and wanted to capture that.

Quote: I love to travel but I don’t like to rush about. This was taken during an afternoon stroll through the vegetable field within the Rosendahl Gardens in Stockholm, Sweden. 'Field' was just one word in a phrase constructed from wire which ran along the length of the garden. This word basically said it all and was a perfect complement to the backdrop.

Quote: Living away from family and friends can be difficult at times and when they come to visit, it is such a joy to see and spend time with them. This word embodies for me how I wish they could "stay" a little while longer and thought it was a perfect word to share.

Quote: I came across this tap on a typical warm Queensland summer day, and just looking at the word "Cold" instantly sent me a small relief from the heat. Remembering your competition, it was a great opportunity to enter so I took a quick snap to share a word.

Quote: I took this photo walking down the back alleys of Canberra city one afternoon, where there's always a mix of well dressed city goers, public servants and bikies. It caught my eye because of the contrast of the sharp 'piercing' word against the out of focus backdrop.

Quote: This picture is of an old-fashioned flower crate that I unearthed at an antique store a couple of years ago. I love the typography, the colours and history of the piece - knowing it was once used to hand-deliver flowers around neighbourhoods; there is something so quaint and nostalgic about that, and it still bares the stains and markings of those days. I always like to have little vases and bottles of pretty blooms and leaves around the house - usually bits and pieces collected on afternoon walks. During winter when gardens become cold and bare, this crate filled with pretty floral trays and a watering can reminds me that spring is just around the corner.

Quote: I guess the word "simply" reflects all that we believe in: living a simple, pared back life, full of creativity, of much laughter and love and being surrounded by the wonder of nature. We spend our days doing what we love because life is short. To be rich live simply!

Quote: I was emptying the trash and noticed a bunch of embossed words on the lid of my wheelie bin. "HUNTER" stood right out immediately. As someone who loves to tell stories, I guess I'm drawn to words that conjure up all sorts of imagery and atmosphere, and this word definitely does that (for me).
