How to Clean an E-Cigarette Atomizer Tank Easily
Depending on the brand, an atomizer tank can last from two weeks to a whole month. Although buying a new atomizer is not expensive, you need to regularly clean the one you have to make it last a little bit longer. In order to bring your old atomizer back to life, here are some steps you need to follow:
- The first thing you need to do is put some gloves on, prepare a paper towel and gently remove the atomizer from the battery of the device;
- Wipe all residue juice with the paper towel and remove the cartridge;
- This step should be done over a garbage can or a sink. Make sure that you do not have children or pets around you while doing that. Use your mouth to blow the atomizer until there is no more residual juice coming out;
- Lay the paper towel down on a very dry place, with no chances of any kind of liquid being poured so that it wets the paper towel. Place the atomizer with its face looking up. The side where the battery is found should be faced downwards. This way, you will get rid of any leftover liquid;
- The next step includes some sort of cleanser, such as Flavor Flush or Everclear, or you can simply use some plain Ethyl Alcohol. Use 10-15 drops of whichever you have chosen and gently drop the liquid in the center of the atomizer’s bridge. Leave it like that for 10-15 minutes and allow it to soak your atomizer to the fullest;
- After you have done the previous step and 10-15 minutes have passed, you might and should notice a little bit of residual liquid on the paper towel around the atomizer. Now you need to repeat step number 3 – blow the atomizer with your mouth again. Stop only when no more liquid comes out of it. You may need to apply cleanser at least once more, wait for another 10 -15 minutes and repeat the blowing procedure as well;
- Supposing everything worked out well with the previous steps, put some of he new juice flavour in the atomizer tank and start vaping. In some cases, you may get disappointed and still feel the taste of the previous juice. If that happens, repeat the whole procedure once more and it should be better. But if you can still feel the old taste and you truly cannot stand it, no matter how mild it is, it is time for a brand new atomizer tank.
